PROMETHEUS RENDERED

The myth of the hero interpreted from the woman’s body. Dancing bodies moving through contortions stress, seizures, oscillations. An internal struggle to get rid of something that limits the mobility of each body, but which in turn becomes the quality of that movement, becoming a dance. A resistance dance. A repetitive gesture, a movement in loop, a space-time which is repeated again and again. This performance confronts the audience with poetic images through the body and movement, bringing them to an abstract universe of contemporary dance itself. It shows concerns, feelings and impressions that inhabit our bodies and come in a way of immediate movements.

If this piece would be
a text
then
you’ll read it
as a poem
where
words are
screaming
sentences
bulding
the beat
that moves
for freedom
